Description
A well-documented and race ready car. Last ran at Spa Masters 2017. Originally built in 1975 as a Formula Ford 5000 with a 75A type monocoque and Ford GA V6 engine. Converted by RAM Racing to 761 specification using crashed ex-Brambilla 761 tub # 1 for Guy Edwards to race in the Aurora F1 Series in 1977. At that time a Cosworth DFV was also installed.
No gaps in ownership history and the subject of a complete restoration by Bernard de Dryver Motorsport over 2013-2015. DFV engine rebuilt by Hy-Speed and with one test and three race weekends. Hewland gearbox has the same mileage since rebuild. The car is now presented in the Beta livery most associated with Vittorio Brambilla and is ideal for the Masters F1 series. HTP is valid until 2026.
A large history file accompanies the car as does a new set of 4 March wheels with rain tyres, original bodywork and a high downforce Monaco specification front wing.
