The MK2, also known as the Mark II, a luxury car produced by Jaguar from 1959 to 1967.
It is a fast, spacious, and seductive car designed by Sir William Lyons, the founder of the British car manufacturer.
This car represents a great commercial success for Jaguar, especially since the price was affordable for everyone, despite being a high-class car.

The London ring road, where mainly the bourgeoisie lived, is said to have been called the "Jag Belt" because of the large number of Jaguars they met.
