Launched at the 1958 Paris Salon, the 250 GT Coupe was Ferrari’s first series production model and represented a milestone for the company in Modena. This Ferrari 250 GT Coupe has just been finished after an extensive „nut-and-bolt“ restoration. The car was completely dismantled, bare metal repainted, the complete mechanics incl. engine, all instruments, electrics etc. overhauled or renewed. The interior is by Luppi of Modena, the new exhaust by Ansa Classic. The wire wheels were rebuild by Ruote Borani in Italy and fitted with new Michelin tyres. The work carried out is documented by a large file of photos and took more than 2,000 hours of labour. This is an absolutely outstanding example of an early Grand Tourisme Ferrari of the famous 250 series – and no doubt an enrichment for every high class collection!
