Herausragend dokumentierte Historie!

Outstandingly documented history! Gapless since day 1!

The AC Ace was supplied new in August of 1957 to its first owner, a quiet successful hobby racer from Pacific Grove, California.

In the following years, he participated in countless racing-events of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) with it.

After an accident in 1963 he sold the car to his race mechanic Phil P., who repaired it but rarely used it anymore.

In 1987, P. sold the AC Ace to a Dr. C., who stored the car for almost ten years.

Finally, in 1996, an Englishman bought the car in the USA and shipped it back home. It was disassembled and prepared for restoration.

The current, German owner, bought the dismantled but complete car in 2006 in the UK.

From 2007 – 2014, the AC Ace was completely restored in painstaking work at the highest standards of quality and under preservation of the maximum original substance by two British well-renowned AC marque experts. The enormous scope of the work and the quality awareness is evident in every little detail.

Extensive photographic documentation accompanied the works, and numerous invoices are also available.

In 2015, the Ace registered in Germany for the first time and received a FIA HTP. This means that it is  eligible for events like the Goodwood Revival, the Mille Miglia and the Le Mans Classic.
