Offered for sale is a rare Lea-Francis 16/60 Special from 1929. From 2017 to 2019, the vehicle underwent extensive restoration and was converted into a sporty racing car. All work was carried out in Germany; relevant records and documentation are available.
The 4-cylinder Riley engine with 2.5 litres and supercharger was recently completely overhauled. Power is transmitted via a 5-speed manual gearbox from Alfa Romeo. Since its completion, the Lea-Francis has successfully participated in numerous events, including the Nürburgring Classic, the Solitude Revival and the Schauinsland Klassik.
The Lea-Francis 16/60 Special is registered in Germany and ready for immediate use in a variety of classic motorsport and vintage car events.
