NV 98 (1939)

We offer a Swedish, light 98 cc moped from NV (Nymans Verkstäder). We did not want to believe it, but the 1939 moped is from 1st hand!
Here in this long-running operation, no one is ever aware of having seen a pre-war 1st-vehicle.

Nymanbolagen AB is a former workshop company in Uppsala, which produces bicycles, motorcycles, mopeds, outboard motors and motorized lawnmowers.
The company was founded in 1873 by the instrument maker Anders Fredrik Nyman (1840-1889) in Uppsala. In 1880, the company also began with bicycle repair. The first own bike, a so-called high-wheel, was built in 1888. After Anders Nymans death in 1889, the business was taken over by his wife, who left it in 1893 to the sons Adolf Fredrik and Janne. In this regard, the company was converted to AF & J. Nymans Instrument and Velociped Factory. The company expanded in the following years and was converted in 1899 under the name AB Nymans Verkstäder into a limited liability company. Converted to Nymanbolagen AB in 1947 and merged in 1960 with AB Cykelfabriken Monark. In 1964 Monark Crescent AB was founded as a new common parent company. The company was dissolved in 1979.
