Triumph TR4 in very good drivers condition. Newly delivered in the USA and traded in by the only Dutch owner. Beautiful car and excellent for rallies or touring. In any case, the TR4 is an ideal car if you are looking for a beautiful classic with fun.
Around 1961, it was a fast sports car with its 2-litre engine and 100 hp. Designed by Michelotti, who created a timelessly beautiful car with Italian flair. It is now a sought-after and reliable classic, and parts are readily available.
The exterior looks very cool, the car has been repainted in the beautiful TR4 colour ‘Signal Red’ and the paintwork looks very good. There are hardly any signs of wear and the paint has a deep shine. The sturdy alloy wheels are painted black and have a chrome centre wing nut as a nice accent. The bonnet has recently been replaced and closes perfectly. Simply a beautiful, sleek TR4.
The interior is well maintained, the dashboard is attractive and all gauges work as they should. The seats have been reupholstered in black imitation leather. The classic wooden steering wheel looks great and feels good in the hand. And this TR4 always starts immediately and drives wonderfully.
The following have been recently replaced: water pump, electric fuel pump including fuel line, battery, brake lines, master brake cylinder and new mats. The engine mounts will be replaced and the TR4 will be delivered with new tyres. The engine has plenty of power and a very healthy oil pressure. We have just measured the compression and it is above average. The gearbox shifts perfectly and is nice and quiet, as is the differential.
