The Lincoln Continental was an idea of Edsel Ford and was designed by the Chief Designer from Ford.
In 1940 this car was launched as an exclusive, luxury, handmade car for the upper class.

The Continental was choosen by The Museum of Modern Art as one of the eight automotive artworks.
In addition, Time Magazine chose this car as one of the 10 best-designed commercial products.
