Descrizione

Nice, clean XK150 Cabrio (DHC) in a great color combination and very good condition. The spoked wheels make the car a real gem. RHD and equipped with a 5-speed GETRAG transmission since 2013. The original 4-speed gearbox with overdrive is in tact and is available on request. The original leather upholstery of the seats is also present.

High-quality complete Swiss restoration from around the year 2000. Nice, light patina. In 2005 the current owner took over the Jaguar from a Swiss club member and since then has used it in many national and international tourist rallies. The XK150 has always proven to be reliable and solid.
Since then, of course, the car has always been in a dry, heated hall and has been serviced regularly.
Due to the age of the owner, the collection should be reduced.

The Jaguar XK 150 was a sports car Jaguar brought in 1957 as the successor to the Jaguar XK 140 on the market.

The models Jaguar XK 150 FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) and DHC (Drop Head Coupe, so convertible) had, like its predecessor, a six-cylinder in-line engine with 3442 cc and 193 or 213 hp. Via a four-speed gearbox, overdrive as an option, the rear wheels were driven. On request, a BorgWarner automatic transmission was available. The engine helped the car to a top speed of 210 km / h. From 1958 there was the model XK 150 S. His engine was brought by a third carburetor to 254 hp and accelerated the vehicles to 215 km / h. From the beginning of 1959, all variants were also delivered with 3781 cc of excavated engine and 223 hp, the 3.8 S with 267 hp (maximum speed 215 km / h). The XK 150 was one of the first vehicles equipped with four disc brakes as standard.

The most striking changes to the bodies were the one-piece panoramic windscreen, the omitted hip swing, the rear bumper and the Jaguar figure on the hood. From 1958, the two-seater Roadster OTS (Open Two Seater) was also offered again, which now had crankshafts on the doors for the first time. The XK 150 was available in the colors carmen red, red, burgundy, imperial auburn, black, cornish gray, fog gray, pearl gray, white, cotswold blue, indigo blue, sherwood green and british racing green.

By 1961, 1300 Roadster OTS, 3457 FHC coupe and 1893 Cabriolet DHC were manufactured, of which accounted for the XK 150 S 888 Roadster, 199 Coupés and 104 Cabriolets. In March 1961, the model XK 150 was replaced by the Jaguar E-Type.
