The German first registration with prominent prior ownership - now from 2nd hand from Hamburg - can be proven by the original letter. The Bentley Continental R was a large, very expensive Bentley luxury coupe that was manufactured between 1991 and 2002. It was the first Bentley since the R-Type that was not based on an identical Rolls-Royce. It was also the fastest, most powerful, but also the most expensive Bentley of its time.

Mulliner Park Ward was a British manufacturer of automobile bodies. The London-based company was formed in 1961 from the merger of the two bodybuilders H. J. Mulliner & Co. and Park Ward. It was a Rolls-Royce subsidiary and, apart from a few bodies for Alvis, only manufactured superstructures for Rolls-Royce and Bentley chassis. In 1991, Mulliner Park Ward was integrated into Rolls-Royce.
