We recently received a beautiful copy, straight from the brochure and then also one of the first model series! Perfectly maintained and still largely in the first paint.
In 2017 from a warm and dry part of Italy of the heirs of the first owner (born in 1915, living in Gioia del Marsi, east of Rome) taken to the Netherlands and registered in 2018. Hence the condition of the bodywork: rare intact!
The beautiful color Procido Blue is combined with a red interior. The seats are still original and are covered with seat covers. The wooden handlebars were normally only mounted in a Ti. The original steering wheel is still with the car, as are some spare parts (including an L mudguard and some rear lights).
Alfa, owned by the Italian state since 1932, produced the Sud in southern Italy, hence the name "Sud". It was the first Alfa with a boxer engine and front-wheel drive. Designer Giugiaro designed the body. It was a fastback with no fifth door. Then very ordinary, now very strange. Only in 1981 did the fifth door become a real door.
