A Dutch-delivered Corvette C5 Targa LS1 automatic (therefore equipped with NL-spec taillights instead of the US version) in completely original condition is something you don’t come across very often. This Corvette has been exceptionally well cared for: the original manuals and keys are present, and both the interior and exterior are in very neat condition. The car sits on good tires, and the most recent service was carried out in April 2025. The seller is the second owner and has had the car in his possession for 18 years. During this entire period, the Corvette was always garage-kept and serviced exclusively by a renowned Corvette specialist. The service booklet and numerous invoices/documentation are included.
The seller has been passionate about Corvettes since childhood. In 1996 he bought his first Corvette, a 1972 C3 LT-1 imported from the USA, which he owned for 10 years. After selling it, he went looking for a Corvette that would offer more comfort for European road trips—one that his wife could also drive more easily. This led him to search for a car with these driving qualities, eventually resulting in the purchase of this 2001 Corvette C5. The car was imported into the Netherlands in 2001 by an official dealer and spent two years in the showroom. In 2003 it was registered and sold to its first owner. In March 2007 it was purchased by the current owner.
The seller and his wife were active board members of the Heartbeat Corvette Club for 12 years and made many international trips with this C5. The trunk easily accommodates two large suitcases, chairs, etc. It is a very comfortable travel car with which they have enjoyed countless memorable journeys. Together with their club, they toured through several European countries and attended various international meetings. Countries visited include Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Czech Republic, England, Scotland, Denmark, and Sweden. They are now letting the car go with a heavy heart due to emigration to South America.
The current mileage is approximately 120,400 km.
