This is a beautiful original German delivered Mercedes-Benz W111 220SE Cabriolet (Type W111.203) with the rare manual transmission with four gears. The car has only driven 108,422 kilometers and is still in very original condition. The car is executed in the timelessly beautiful combination consisting of "green and tan", in this case Dunkelgrün with a beautiful brown leather interior and black convertible top. Of course, it needs no further explanation that this color scheme in itself is sufficient reason to want to purchase this car. The simple fact that the car is in beautiful original condition and has a manual transmission only adds to this.

The bodywork still looks beautiful. This example is clearly cherished, otherwise it is not possible to keep a car in such good condition for so long. The sheet metal is nice and thin and the fits are correct. The paint has already been repainted once for cosmetic reasons and still looks beautiful. The convertible top is easy to operate and fits neatly everywhere. The car stands on the original steel rims surrounded by hubcaps that are partly chromed and partly painted in the color of the car.

The interior is completely original. The wood at the windscreen is still in very good condition and looks neatly cared for. The seats are exactly like other seats in Mercedes-Benz cars from this period and from the higher segment. The carpets are in good condition and fit neatly everywhere. The instruments and controls all function as they should and look neat. The interior also shows that the previous owners took very good care of the car and that this beautiful open Mercedes-Benz has probably never been outside in the winter.

The car is powered by the indestructible M270 six-in-line, which in this case is 2.2 liters in size and produces 118 hp. The engine is wonderfully smooth and runs beautifully. A quick look at the Datenkarte that comes with the car confirms the suspicion that this car still has the original engine. This is a matching numbers car. The four-speed transmission matches the torque-rich character of the in-line six and the relaxed handling of the 220SE convertible. This is not a car to attack mountain roads with, but rather for relaxed driving on the most beautiful rural roads you can find. In the meantime, you not only enjoy the beautiful engine sound, but also the slowly passing environment. The chassis and brakes are also very well suited to their task and contribute to the comfortable overall picture.

The car is beautifully documented. The original Datenkarte is present as well as the complete board folder. The original Fahrzeugbrief is even still present with the car and the completed maintenance book is also present with the car. In short, a beautifully maintained, matching numbers, beautiful looking, original Mercedes-Benz 220SE Cabriolet with manual transmission.
