Not only practical, but sometimes also sporty or elegant – station wagons have long since dusted off their reputation as purely farm animals. These ten models were called up most frequently on Classic Trader last year – and are therefore the most popular station wagons.
1st place: Almost 200,000 station wagons of the 123 series were built, many of which were burned. They are all the more in demand today.
The direct successor, the 124 series, follows in second place. Of the approximately 2 million 124s, 340,000 were station wagons.
The popular British “Woodie”, Morris Minor Traveller, comes in third. No wonder, given the low entry-level prices.
