Beschreibung

Auto Storica is pleased to announce this Daimler Dart SP250

Presented at the 1959 New York Auto Show, its design did not dazzle all attendees, and the public rated it as one of the ugliest cars at the show.

But its beauty is found inside, and under the hood it hides a 2.5-liter V8, which delivers 140 hp, enough power for its fiberglass body to reach 200 km/h. Not bad for a 900KG car

For this reason it was chosen by the London Metropolitan Police to combat the fast cafe racer motorcycles that thieves used in their robberies.

Our unit has led a quieter life, and is in an excellent state of conservation. The dark blue of its bodywork contrasts with the whitish tone of its leather interior, and the optional spoked wheels give it a great sporty touch.

Its mechanics are up to date and in full operation, emitting a throaty V8 sound through its double exhaust outlet that does not go unnoticed.

In addition, it is registered in Spain as a historic vehicle.

It is the perfect car to enjoy the sportiest driving, in a different and very original package. Do not hesitate to contact us to learn more details about this very special British Roadster.
