1990 Audi Quattro 2.2 5 cyl 20V finished in Alpine White with dark grey leather interior. The odometer shows 294,190km but the car underwent an extensive overhaul in 2015 has travelled just 1500km since. Just 3 owners from new, chassis number WAUZZZ85ZLA000195.

The car was delivered new to a gentlemen in Switzerland in 1990, and these original registration documents are present. He certainly had some good use out of the it, clocking up 290,000km over the next 21 years. In 2011 it was acquired by the chairmen of the Audi club in the Netherlands, owned and enjoyed by him for a year before he gave into the multiple requests from our client to buy the car from him in 2012. The car was collected and driven to Sweden (videos and photos of the first drives are available) where it was registered and enjoyed for a short while before being put in the care of Quattro wizard and rally fiend Fredrik Donner. Donner was well known in the Swedish scene for his prowess behind the wheel and later as the man to go to if you were in the market for a rally-ready A2 recreation of if Quattro needed specialist care. At his hands the car underwent an extensive mechanical overhaul, with the original engine and transmission rebuilt, major drivetrain components replaced and a new turbo and intercooler fitted. The seats were replaced and wheels refurbished improving the appearance of the car considerably.

This is a very well presented, 3 owner, matching numbers Ur Quattro benefitting from a thorough mechanical overhaul with few kilometers travelled since. Our client owns a number of race and rally recreations, including at a BMW CSL batmobile and A2 which we previously sold (see photos). He has decided to let this Quattro go due to the time and financial commitments of overseeing his current builds.
