Classic cars in unrestored and original condition are becoming increasingly rare and for that reason the most searched after examples on the market. Finding a true workhorse like the Land Rover One Ten in this condition is even more difficult. But now we found the real deal : a very rare European specification County V8 in completely untouched condition and incredibly low mileage !
This iconic Land Rover was delivered new in Holland in 1986, and only used to tow the boat and caravan during the holidays. It has been used for one occasional wintersport trip to the Alps, and always kept in beautiful condition. The early history of the car is documented with many photographs during the weekend and holiday trips, and of course lots of technical control documents confirming the low mileage of 43.565 km. The complete body is still in first paint and looks fantastic with only the slightest sign of use (and I would not even use the word "patina" to describe the exceptionally good condition of this paint...). The interior is still as it left the factory with almost no signs of wear, and it is a proper ten-seater car as well. The powerful 3,5 litre V8 engine offers the right soundtrack for such a big Land Rover, and the 5-speed gearbox guarantees a comfortable ride on the motorway. Everything works as it should on this car, including the low gearing and difflock. Underneath, it looks as good as the bodywork.
This is a really rare find, as most of these cars had a hard life and were often not very well maintained. Our example has been cherished all its life, and there is probably not another One Ten County V8 in the world in this amazing original condition. This is a collectors car which ticks all the right boxes, and fits every important classic car collection or museum. Unrepeatable is probably the right word to describe this unique Land Rover.
