1970 | Jaguar E-Type

This beautiful original UK matching numbers 1971 Series 2 E Type Roadster   started its life being Distributed by Henlys of London.

Having enjoyed life until 1991 when the  affection between the current owner and the car started.  The current owner who now enjoys  a collection of very special  cars,   but bought this car as his first significant classic. The car was original having never bene pulled apart but in need of attention and so the car undertook a full restoration  to an eventual show standard. Every area of the car was attended to and is shown within the huge history file covering its life in photographic and paper format.  After some years the owner was persuaded to pass the car onto his friend where it continued to be cherished. Within the last three years the paintwork and mechanicals had a refresh to maintain the superb standard.

Since its original restoration this gorgeous E Type has only travelled 8600 miles.

Unfortunately on his  sad passing the current owner  wanted the car back to continue the  relationship.

There are E Types and there are E types like this one, that have a fabulous history, have been maintained regardless of cost and that you could jump in and drive to the South of France  without any concern. This is one of the nicest E Type Roadsters we have had in some time.

The closer you look at this car the more you appreciate how good it is.  The paint work and bodywork have been restored beautifully, the interior also is superb, restored to such an original standard that you would think it was like the day it was handed over to the excited first owner in 1971. The car even has an original Handbook in the footwell, unheard of!
