Alfredo Vignale built the bodywork of the "Eveline" on the basis of the Fiat 124 sedan, he kept the floor and the mechanics unaltered, as well as the front part of the interior, relative to the dashboard and instrumentation.
His goal was to build an average performance sports car with four comfortable seats. Thus he anticipated the Ford Capri and Opel Manta models of the immediately following years.
Particular attention was paid to the comfort of the car, which was equipped with four separate seats with armrests and central ashtrays, front electric windows, rear windows that open with compasses, rear-view mirror with low beam position, three courtesy lights, glove box with key door, light reverse and double headlights.
The list of equipment was completed by the wooden steering wheel with two perforated spokes and a wide choice of colors for the bodywork and interiors.
The performance of the "Eveline" is similar to that of the sedan model from which it derives and, moreover, the 1197 cm³ engine with 60 hp was of considerable power for the time.
Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1967, it was produced in about 200 units.
Thanks to this custom-built Alfredo Vignale was awarded the "Mercurio d'Oro", a recognition to those companies that after the war instilled confidence and a spirit of competition in the Italian productive and economic system.
