Another superb T series Bentley. This a very late T1 cloaked in the marvellous Moorland Green with twin painted fine lines, tan leather interior and burr walnut veneer
Our love for these T series cars is all encompassing, be it an early T1 or a late T2 we're fans of and have owned them all, however there is argument to suggest that the late T1 is the sweet spot of production
Featuring the wider body and flared wheel arches of the T2 but retaining the T1 chrome bumpers and front valance the appearance of these latter T1's is the key. Estimated that between 65-85 UK RHD examples benefited from this specification
We have previously owner another '76 T1 in Moorland Green with the same interior before so when we heard of this car we thought that we just might be about to see an old friend again, alas she is new to us but as sweet as any we've come across
With only 82,500 miles and an excellent service record backing up the mileage she drives as one might hope, the most recent keeper always having her serviced as required with Nigel Sandell
Nevertheless we undertook a thorough service immediately when she came to us ensuring everything works as it should
She benefits from some excellent factory options too including passenger rear view mirror, rear vanity mirrors, rear headrests, electric Hollandia sunroof and more
Shod with the correct and elegant AVON white wall tyres she rides perfectly and goes along ever so gently
