Although almost identical to the naked eye the MGC is quite a different beast to the venerable and modest MGB. Only the lump in the bonnet gives it away, but underneath lures a genuine sleeper and a very capable Grand Tourer that leaves only little to be desired compared to the far more expensive and prestigious competition from Jaguar and Aston Martin. Not only is the big 3 liter in-line six engine coupled to the 4-speed gear box with electric overdrive giving the car a relaxed motorway cruising capability even at today’s traffic speeds. Also the front suspension with torsion bars and telescopic dampers gives the MGC a more refined ride. With correct tire fitting and pressure the steering is not at all heavy as soon as the car is moving just a little over the ground and the 53/47 weight distribution front and rear is comparable to most cars with longitudinal, front mounted engine. Classic car magazines are also giving the MGC far more credit and positive feedback than the contemporary motor journalists gave the MGC at its presentation in 1967.

This quite gorgeous MGC was sold new in Denmark. It is therefore one of the rare LHD cars for the export market outside the US with the attractive dashboard. It has had only 3 owners with the second owner Mr. Erik Korner from 1971 and up to 2014 when he was 90 years old! During all his 43 years of ownership Erik Korner kept a meticulous log book of all maintenance and service even down to each and every time he put petrol on the car. We have never, ever seen such well documented car and it is quite a piece of motoring history through more than four decades we have here. In 2014 the car was subject to a full and professional restoration and has only seen little use since and just enough to sort out all these small issues and adjustments that always follows an assembly after a full restoration. The car runs and drives perfectly and is a beauty to the eye. We urge every potential MGC buyer to see this one.

Huge price reduction of €4.500 (From €31,500)
