Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (1989)

1989 Mercedes 300SL finished in pale metallic blue with a perfect well-kept blue interior. Built in the final year of the 107 production, these cars were fully galvanised and much better built than the earlier models. This particular example has had only 4 previous owners in its 31 year life span, all of whom appear to have kept it in first class condition. It comes with a detailed history file that includes an original fully stamped up service book, 21 previous Mot certificates and servicing invoices going back to when the car was first produced. We have just had all four wheels refurbished and due to the age of the tyres, we have had four new tyres fitted. Both bodywork and interior are in unmarked condition and the dark blue mohair soft top looks as though it has been recently replaced. In the same ownership for the past 6 years, the last owner upgraded the steering wheel with a high gloss veneered wheel but the original is with the car in case it is preferred. Also with the car are a set of Fondmetal, 5 spoke 16" alloy wheels, all with excellent tyres. Whilst the 300 engine is not most powerful, it is far from being slow and is by far the most economical of the entire range.
