1987 Mercedes Benz W126 500 SE from the popular 2nd series.

This 500 SE was ordered new by a gentleman from Santander, northern Spain. It was registered on July 24th, 1987. All service and maintenance was carried out at the Mercedes-Benz branch Setién, Herrá Y Cía S.A. in Santander, Spain. From 0 to 155,000 kilometers: every stamp is present. In 2014 the vehicle was purchased by a collector from Pontevedra, Spain. The vehicle is garage-parked there, maintained and has had its MOT every year. In 2021 we sold the vehicle to an W126 enthusiast from Amsterdam and now it is available again.

The odometer reading is verifiable and correct from 1987 to 2024. Spanish MOT reports, Mercedes invoices, service booklet and other documents are available.

The condition is very clean and exceptionally solid. The underbody is very clean, nothing welded, everything in the factory color. Jack points, wheel arches, bottom edges of the doors and rear window frame are all top notch.

The V8 runs smoothly and the gearbox shifts very cleanly. The vehicle has been serviced continuously, even in recent years.

The paintwork inst 735 Astral Silver looks very good and beautiful. Without bubbles or signs of rust. The inside is also very nice, well-maintained and original. The leather is beautifully supple and matt. The dashboard shows no cracks, the wood is beautiful.

The air conditioning system was overhauled in 2021. A new compressor was installed together with conversion to R134a climate gas. Blows ice cold.

A lot was also invested in the Suspension in 2021: Balljoints left and right, wishbone supports L + R and tie rods L + R. Wheel alignment and brake fluid renewed.

From 1987 to 2014 it was one owner. After that two more owners. Complete history available. The vehicle presents beautiful on the timeless Gullideckel wheels with fresh Continental tires.
