Beautiful 3-speed Fiat Balilla, year 1933, French registration, ASI Targa Oro registered.

The first 508 was fitted at the front with the Fiat 108 engine, an in-line four-cylinder with side valves of 995 cm³ of displacement, capable of developing about 20 HP at 3500 rpm, coupled to a non-synchronized three-speed gearbox, which pushed the version four-seater two-door sedan at approximately 80 km / h top speed. The traction is rear, The frame is with longitudinal and cross members with central X-shaped reinforcement, the brakes are drum brakes on all four wheels with the innovative (for the time) hydraulic control, the suspensions are rigid-axle in front and at the rear with leaf springs and hydraulic shock absorbers and the drop-down “barrel” tank is located under the bonnet.
The examples produced between the various series from 1932 to 1937 were 112,000.
The model was presented at the Milan Fair on April 12, 1932 on the occasion of the Motor Show and was characterized above all by the base price of only 10,800 Lire.
