This is a race prepared classic 1986 Austin Metro 1330cc which would be eligible for classic racing, Hillclimb, Sprints, Rallying or just a fun but quick road car. It has been professionally built and is road legal with an MoT test certificate which expires in July 2026. The car has just undergone a full refresh, with new FIA seats, belts and plumbed in fire system. It is ready to compete in the 2025 MG BRSCC MG Metro Cup by 'Hickford Construction'. It has competed at Goodwood, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park, Silverstone and Brands Hatch to name a few and is still eligible for Croft and Oulton International this year! It produces a mighty 115bhp and has had much money and modifications made to the car (full list is in the history file) but just to give an idea, it has Omega 1330cc pistons, Janspeed exhaust, head and block skimmed, short push rods, close ratio straight cut gearbox, race alloy fuel tank, six point harness, adjustable anti roll bar etc etc…. This fantastic, quick car goes like a bullet, sounds amazing and comes with a V5 registration document and is set up for tarmac use.
